Poor Lucas and the Evil Duke is a Metroidvania with action and RPG elements. Jump, slide, wall jump, swim, and battle your way through the Dukedom. Other mechanics include pushing boxes, pulling levers, and swinging on ropes. Enemies drop essences that will eventually unlock stat boosts or spells. Items in the game may be dropped as magic or can be enchanted. The demo is of the first area of the game. The game is still in development so there still may be some changes by the time the game is completed. I did a good deal of polishing of this area, but could still use some fresh shine before the game releases. I am open to suggestions to improve the quality of the game.
